Confronted with the proliferation of oversized installations during Hong Kong's highly commercialized Christmas season, the AaaM team faced the core challenge of delivering genuine environmental education through a temporary installation. Sited within a revitalized historic building complex, the project had to transform 16,000 recycled beverage cartons—collected over several years from local primary schools—into a visually compelling and educational spatial intervention within a limited budget and exhibition period. The diversity of these cartons (brands, sizes, materials) presented a constraint that required ingenious design resolution.
